I purchased myself flowers not too long ago for the first time in a very long time. I don't typically buy myself things as a gift to myself. But when I was at the grocery store, I fell in love with their pale pink/almost white peonies! I adored them and took care of them so well they lasted for many weeks. 
 
I took in their character, their color, how they drooped, and the scent they gave off as they slowly died away. I just loved admiring its fleeting beauty and how it represented the impermanence we have on this earth. 
Moments don't last forever, but what does is the impression and energy we give off into the world.
