This collection started with my strong desire to capture the peonies I bought myself before it began to wilt away. I wasn't expecting to paint them, but as soon as I captured them through photographs, I was utterly captivated. The emotion of holding onto something beautiful before it leaves is bittersweet. It calls us to be in the moment, notice every detail, and be present to the things we cherish while they are still here.
